Both versions of the AXIOM - w/fixed mounting head for 1/2" cartridges as well as w/SME-bayont - are available in a choice of striking jewel-quality plated surface finishes.

Satin finishes in rhodium, nickel, matt black, ruthenium and 18kt to 24kt pure gold plating are available.

These surface platings are applied in a specialized jewel plating facility in Pforzheim/Germany - the "heart" of the German jewel and precious metal industry.

Repeated quality and precision fit control after each production step.

Fit and precision is checked before surface grounding - then again after micro ceramic sanding and prior to jewel plating.

This is a time-consuming process which ensures the utmost precision and extreme snug fit of elements in the AXIOM.

Time-consuming, but indispensable to ensure the most rigid construction and the best possible energy transfer through all elements.

There certainly is no free lunch in the path to make and assemble the most consequent tonearm.
