ARISTOS - a moving coil step-up transformer like no other

The ARISTOS is a new step-up transformer designed to match - in a most consequent way - a dedictated type of low-output moving coil cartridges.

It was designed to perfect match the ARCHON moving coil cartridge.

Its parameters however do allow mating the ARISTOS with most high-end moving coil cartridges featuring an output between 0.25 mV and 0.6 mV and a source impedance between 6 and 18 Ohms.

The ARISTOS features a step-up ratio of 1:10 resulting in a gain of about 20 dB.

The ARISTOS massive aluminum cabinet houses 2 extremely closely matched (within 0.25 dB) german made magnetic shielded transformers.

These ultra high performance transformers are isolated from vibrations by a sophisticated oil-based solution.

All these measures taken do finally result in a very natural sound, - with a large dynamic scale, clean transients and a most holographic soundstage.

The ARISTOS is available in a range of fine surface finishes for its unobstructive and timeless designed massive aluminum cabinet:

- plain aluminum

- black anodized

- satin finsih rhodium

- satin finish 24ct gold

- polished 24ct gold

The ARISTOS comes with WBT Nextgen RCAs or Neutrik silvered XLR balanced outputs.

The ARISTOS is fully shielded and separately grounded.

The ARISTOS is also available in a very special MONO version for your fine MONO moving coil cartridge.
